Welcome to WriteByVoice. These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access and use of our Chrome extension and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). By using WriteByVoice, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country) to use WriteByVoice. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.2. User Accounts
To access certain features, you may be required to create a user account.
- You must provide a valid name.
- Passwords are stored securely using industry best practices.
- You are solely responsible for your account activity.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.3. Data & Privacy
- The only personal data we store is your name and encrypted password.
- We do not store, process, or retain any information input via voice.
- We do not sell, trade, or rent your data.
- We may contact you for product updates and marketing purposes. You may opt out at any time.

You agree to use the Platform responsibly. You may not:
- Violate any law or regulation.
- Use the Platform for fraudulent, harmful, or abusive purposes.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Interfere with Platform security or reverse-engineer the service.
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful content.
- Scrape, mine, or harvest any data from the Platform.5. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in the Platform, including code, logos, trademarks, features, and AI components, are owned by WriteByVoice or its licensors.
You may not reproduce, copy, or exploit any portion of the Platform without prior written consent.6. Subscriptions & Payments
- Premium features may require a paid subscription.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled.
- You may cancel anytime through your account settings.
- No refunds will be provided for partial billing periods unless required by law.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue subscription features.7. Platform Content & AI Use
- The Platform may generate content using AI technologies.
- We make no guarantees as to the accuracy, appropriateness, or legality of AI-generated responses.
- You are solely responsible for the content you generate or submit.
- We do not endorse or moderate user or AI-generated content.
- We are not liable for any harm, loss, or legal consequences resulting from such content.8. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party vendors:
- Bubble.io
- Firebase
- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- SendGrid
These services may process data to support platform functionality. We are not responsible for any loss or data breach resulting from third-party service interruptions.9. Modifications to the Service
We reserve the right to:
- Add, modify, or remove features, with or without notice.
- Temporarily or permanently discontinue the Platform or parts of it.
We are not liable for any changes to service availability or performance.10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time:
- For breach of these Terms
- For suspected fraudulent or harmful activity
- At our discretion
Termination may result in loss of access to features and content. You may also delete your account at any time.11. Feedback and Suggestions
By submitting feedback, ideas, or suggestions to WriteByVoice, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free license to use and incorporate them into our services without obligation or compensation.12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- WriteByVoice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- We provide the Platform “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
- Your use of the Platform is at your sole risk.13. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless WriteByVoice, its team, partners, and vendors from any claims or damages arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your content
- Your violation of these Terms or applicable law14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising out of these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of England, to whose jurisdiction you expressly submit.15. Dispute Resolution
Before pursuing formal legal action, you agree to try resolving any dispute informally by contacting us. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to English courts unless arbitration is required by applicable law.16. Disclaimer of Warranty
We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not responsible for any losses or damages resulting from Platform downtime or errors.17. Children’s Use
WriteByVoice is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.18. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
When we do, we’ll revise the “Effective Date” above.

We retain your data only for as long as necessary to:
- Provide services you’ve signed up for
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes or enforce agreementsYou can delete your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.13. Children’s Privacy
WriteByVoice is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such data, we will delete it immediately.14. Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
We honor browser-level privacy signals such as Global Privacy Control (GPC) where legally required (e.g. under CCPA).
However, since our extension does not track or monitor users across services, this is largely not applicable.15. Changes to This Policy
